Comparative between Unix and Windows hosting
You should subscribe Windows plans only if you need its features,
as they are more expensive than Unix plans. This happens due to the extra costs of Microsoft Software.
Unix and Windows accounts share the same email and database servers,
with their only difference being the web service in Unix FreeBSD or in Windows 2003.
By subscribing to a Windows plan you'll have ASP and ASP.NET support, while subscribing
to a Unix plan you'll have support for PHP and PERL. You should consider these differences when subscribing your hosting account. If these differences are irrelevant we
advise, once again, to opt for Unix hosting.
Frontpage extensions are supported only on Windows servers.
