FAQ-01: What is an Affiliate Program?

An Affiliate Program is a service that redirects and refers clients to Domínios.PT website increasing its visits and sales.

Our Affiliate Program is a system through which the affiliate earns commissions for commercial operations made by a new client that reaches our website through their banners and links.

FAQ-02: What is an Affiliate?

The Affiliate is the person that wishes to receive a benefit by redirecting new clients to our website. The affiliate will earn with the services that the client subscribes with us.

FAQ-03: Who can became an affiliate?

Companies, individuals and any other entity with the capability to write a receipt and who wishes to make profit on redirecting clients to Domínios.PT.

FAQ-04: How can I sign in the Affiliate Program?

If you are already our client you can login to your administration account and sign in the Affiliate Program.

If your are not our client yet you can create a user account and sign in the Affiliate Program after.

FAQ-05: I need to have a registered domain or a website hosted with Domínios.PT to become an Affiliate?

There is no obligation on having a domain or a hosting service with us because we will give you links and banners to insert at your existing website to gain new clients.

However, by subscribing a service with Domínios.PT you can prove the quality of the services that you will provide at your website.

FAQ-06: Having a website hosted at other service provider, or even with Domínios.PT is there any specific requirements about its content?

There are no specific restrictions, however Domínios.PT advises you to check the 'Terms & Conditions for Hosting Services' available at http://www.dominios.pt/hosting/terms-conditions.aspx.

FAQ-07: Signing in the Affiliate Program needs the approval from Domínios.PT?

With exception of some situation that Domínios.PT verifies to be against the 'Terms & Conditions for Hosting Services' available at http://www.dominios.pt/hosting/terms-conditions.aspx all sign-ins will be automatically accepted.

FAQ-08: The affiliate status is undetermined or it needs to be renewed?

When a person/company becomes an affiliate its in an undetermined term, meaning that there is no maximum affiliate period and you can choose to sign out the at any time.

FAQ-09: After I sign in the program how can I access the control panel?

The control/administration panel for the Affiliate Program is available through your Client's Account at http://www.dominios.pt/admin/affiliate.aspx.

FAQ-10: What kind of tools does the Domínios.PT's Affiliate Program offers to earn commissions?

Domínios.PT has available 2 options that require to be inserted at your website:

Banners;
Links

FAQ-11: How does Domínios.PT keep track of the hits on my banner/link and the sales that are made though it?

When a user clicks on the Affiliates banner/link is redirected to Domínios.PT. Every click is saved at the user's computer with the affiliate reference number. If that user subscribes a service with Domínios.PT until 30 days after the click, it will be associated to the affiliate and any purchase will count to the affiliate earns.

FAQ-12: How do I earn my commissions?

Commissions can be obtained through sales only and not through every click made on the tools we give the affiliate.

The commissions earned by the affiliate are always related to a new gained client, meaning that the affiliate earn the commission on the first purchase the client makes and not recurrently.

The following payments made by that client to Domínios.PT won't result on commissions to the affiliate.

By obtaining a new client the affiliate earns immediately the full commission and won't be payed any other commissions regarding that client, unless he does another purchase through the affiliates website.

FAQ-13: When are the commissions payed?

Domínios.PT allows to request the payment everytime a Affiliate accumulates commissions superior to €10.00 euros + VAT.

FAQ-14: How are the commissions payed?

The affiliates earns can be payed in two ways:

By presenting us an invoice/receipt (singular workers receipts are accepted)
Requesting to credit the earns at the hosting account that the affiliate have with Domínios.PT

FAQ-15: Do I have to pay taxes over my commissions?

If the affiliate receives a commission payment by presenting a receipt it will probably need to pay the taxes as defined by the legislation at his country.
